Dr. Philipp Schädle

The motivation of my research stems from subsurface applications such as geothermal energy, groundwater management and contamination, subsurface carbon dioxide storage, and radioactive waste disposal. Within these topics I am driven by the desire to improve the description and understanding of multiphase flow and transport, and geochemical processes in porous and fractured-porous media. More specifically, my goal is to improving the numerical description by using state-of-the-art computational and data processing methods.
