Research Interests
Aiming at understanding the relevant processes during the utilization of geothermal energy, my main interests are fluid, solute, and heat transport processes in saturated and unsaturated (fractured) porous media, reactive transport in (fractured) porous media, and upscaling flow and transport parameters from pore or core scale to reservoir scale, using both laboratory experiments and numerical modeling.
